Dual Control Fatigue Tester

Sysmetric recently introduced its groundbreaking new generation of fatigue testing systems. This advanced system features the innovative dual control fatigue tester (DCFT) and updated FTMS software. Drawing on our extensive expertise since our inaugural system in 2008, we incorporated feedback and suggestions from fatigue system operators and device designers to enhance functionality.
The DCFT tester sets itself apart by offering dual control options, a pioneering blend of displacement and/or force control capabilities. It integrates a high-resolution Absolute Optical Encoder to precisely monitor and manage motor position. The electronic controller utilizes a Dual-Core (DSP+ARM) configuration for multidimensional control. This system allows for flexible operation in any combination of displacement and force control modes, further solidifying its position at the forefront of available fatigue testing solutions.
Force Fatigue Tester

The force control fatigue tester uses a linear motor for force activation and a load cell for force measurement. The DUT (device under test) is positioned on the collet, which is situated on top of the load cell, and attached to the linear motor. When the machine is activated the motor travels up and down pulling the fixture and thus applying a force to the DUT. Using the load cell the actual applied force is measured and a control system adjusts the motor movements in order to achieve the required force and force signal.
The machine is fitted in a metal casing which also houses the FT electronic controller. This electronic controller consists of multi voltage isolated power supplies, amplifier for driving the linear motor, analog to digital converter for measuring the actual force through the load cell, Ethernet communication for data exchange with FTMS PC software and other features.
